In addition to performing on his own, Schroeder has musical directed and collaborated with a coterie of distinguished performers, including Tony Award winners Leslie Odom Jr, Billy Porter, Katrina Lenk, Jason Alexander and the legendary Angela Lansbury. Other prestigious performers include Dave Koz, Tom Jones, Haley Reinhart, Ariana Savalas, Shoshana Bean, Sam Harris, and the YouTube sensation “Postmodern Jukebox”.
His music direction has shaped acclaimed productions such as Wicked (Universal Studios Japan), Disney’s Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular, and most recently, The Untrainable Dragon, a livestage adaptation of How to Train Your Dragon at Universal EPIC Universe in Orlando, Florida.
Todd’s work has been recognized with multiple honors, including the LA Theatre Alliance Ovation Award for “Best Musical Direction” (HAM: A Musical Memoir), The THEA Award for Best Vocal Direction (How to train your dragon: The UnTrainable Dragon) and BroadwayWorld.com’s “Music Director of the Year.”
